Alfonso L%C3%B3pez Pumarejo

Alfonso Lpez Pumarejo was a twotime Colombian president and political figure, as a member of the Colombian Liberal Party. He served as president of Colombia for the first time between 1934 and 1938 and again between 1942 and 1945.

Alfonso Lpez Pumarejo born in Honda , his father Pedro Aquilino Lpez Medina was a great businessman and great mentor of this city. Alfonso Lpez Pumarejo went on to study at the London School of Economics. His son, Alfonso Lpez Michelsen, was president of Colombia between 1974 and 1978.
